Product Information
This analog watch manufactured by Invicta is based on a rather ingenious design. The first thing that will strike the casual observer is the clear watch face that permits one to see the inner workings of the watch itself. It has a silver-tone case color with a round face structure. The strap is made from polyurethane and is black with stainless steel undertones. This Invicta model is mechanical in nature, so it is powered by hand winding. Men will appreciate the buckle closure and adjustable nature of the band. The stainless steel case is 52 millimeters and has a dial window that is flame fusion crystal. not so water resistant
This was my 5th Invicta. I purchased this watch because the 100 meter pro diver I owned after a year took on swimming pool water and it was DOA! This 1088 skeleton is a beautiful watch, I smiled like a kid in a candy store when I put it on. Unfortunately, after a couple of days in the pool/shower, this 50 meter watch took on water as well. Even then, it didn't stop due to the mechanics but, it's a little hard to see the beautiful parts moving when there's a mist on the crystal (see photo). I'm not sure if I'm just unlucky with my experience or it's a common thing. Either way, I'm looking forward to the new replacement as well as the Russian Diver my girl friend bought me.
