Should be standard equipment
I replaced the rear anti-swaybar in my "13 crosstrek with one of these and now did the same for my '17 outback. The same bar fits both and makes a very noticeable difference in limiting body roll in the corners. Even more so in the outback than the crosstrek due to it being a larger, heavier vehicle. Assembly instructions
No fault of the purchased bar, but the OE stabilizer links could not be disassembled from the old bar due to corrosion (car less than 2 years old). I had to buy and install 2 new links to finish the job. A 5mm hex key is needed to hold the ball joint link stud to remove the flanged locking nut and to re-assemble. The socket end of the stud rusts and the hex key just strips out the remaining steel. Clean and paint the new studs and nuts if you ever want to remove the assembly.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Tightens up cornering
Great upgrade for my 2018 Outback, should fit all gen5 OBs. Really tightens up the conering, reducing body roll noticably. Good Bar. Bad Bushings
Great bang for your buck but the bushings I received did not have much give to them. They were relatively rigid to where when placing them on the bar they creased and cracked. Luckily, when installed, the metal bracket holds them together so each bushing being almost in two separate pieces doesn’t matter too much.
