Improper directions wrong size parts
Instructions says use only one gasket on the inside ...for the spigot it has not stopped leaking it had 3 gaskets 2 for the ceramic filter and 1 for the spigot..it leaks really bad and drilled per instructions 3/4 " ...now I need to try to get a different... Great little filter
After using this for a few months I can defiantly say this filter work very well. It provides good clean water. I have tested it with all kinds of water and get consistently clean drinking water. I have even used water out of my pool and it filtered out all impurities. Yes I tested the water before I drank it. It removed chlorine and bacteria from the water. The before test and after filter test were very impressive. I have ordered 4 more to have on hand. These little filters are worth the money as they do work. If you ever wonder what is in bottle water run it through one of these filters, it is quite amazing. I am saving a ton of money as now I can filter tap water and no more buying bottle water. preliminary use
All I have done is assemble with my own 5 gallon buckets and make one run of about 3 gallons through. I just wanted to see if it worked and have on hand when I need it. The quality of filters and prefilter and drain valve seem good and packaging and deliver was good and quick. I am very satisfied and glad to know I have something to work with. Drinkable contaminated water
I strained contaiminated well water we had tested by the water department. We were told not to drink it because of all of the bacteria, ecoli, and pestisides from the fields! We build a crude water system with this filter as the olny means of purification and had it retested. It came out drinkable.
