It fit; it works.
I have a Maytag Neptune washer, model MAH4000AWW, series 40 (serial No. 40...). The motor wasn't running, and I discovered the fuse was blown on the motor control board. Oddly, the fuse wasn't replaceable -- you have to replace the whole controller board, and the motor as well. Kind of like replacing part of your house because a circuit breaker tripped. Finding the replacement part was confusing; part numbers have changed, and you will be directed to replace both the motor and controller (sold as a kit) without any explanation (presumably because of legal action over defective parts). Happily, the motor+controller kit costs less than either the motor or the controller sold separately, Even more happily, the kit installed without unusual difficulty, and the washer is working again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
