Reliable portable air cleaner
I purchased two Honeywell Air Purifiers Model 17007-HD in 2012. They are well made and super reliable. One of them runs 24 hours a day everyday, the other just at night. No problems, just replace the pre-filter when needed and vacuum off the HEPA filter at the same time. HEPA filter is supposed to last for 3-5 years -- have not had to replace yet. Not excessively loud on Quiet during the day and provide excellent "white noise" at night. Newer similar model 17000-S is quieter but needs pre-filters more often (replacement light comes on). Recently purchased a third 17007-HD as this older model is becoming harder to find and is a real workhorse.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Air Purifier for the Price
This product works great at cleaning the air of impurities. Very strong fan but a little bit noisy. For the noise, you get excellent particulate removal for a fairly large area. Filters are a bit expensive but they last a while and they work very well. Easy maintenance with super fast filter changes when needed.
