Useful for Anyone with Hair!
Uses nice photos of girls who look like everyday children, not models. Clear diagrams and good written instructions. Various levels of difficulty. Recommends using hair spray several times, and wearing some styles requires the use of hairpins or bobby pins. A few styles are odd, but most wouldn't draw stares. Written in cheerful prose intended for tweens, this is a fun read. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it is to create hairstyles that look very difficult. I look forward to sharing this with a friend who also has longer hair, because although we're far older than the target audience, we'll have fun with this!

This American Girl book is over hair and The Styling tips and tricks or age-appropriate and fantastic. The styles are not only age appropriate but super cute! The instructions or pictorial instructions and easy to read and follow. The content is in words that a child around 11 or 12 will understand. Lots of styles to choose from and I'm glad I got this for my daughter she will love it.
