This is a Genuine Smith and Alexander Magwell, Just at a better price that other online vendors. I prefer these to other 360 magwells like the SVI or Dawson. Great product, really needs blending and fitting to make it function as well as it is capable of. Great with a twist!
The part is sweet but the machining was a bit questionable. The piece did not slide into place as easily as the factory piece slid off. I also had to grind the top to relieve it so the heal safety could move freely. Excellent quality, easy install
I have two of these installed on my Taurus 1911 pistols. One blue and one stainless. Both are exact fits without any modification. Excellent mainspring housing w Magwell
I replaced a two piece mainspring housing/magwell on my Metro Arms MAC Classic that came loose the first time I took my gun to the range. This Smith & Alexander fit snuggly but w/ no fitting required and is a drastically better product than the two piece one that came with the gun.
