I've had these for many many years mine just started getting sort of rusty in the metal well so I wanted to get a new one. Love it use it all the time You can slow cooking it you can bake a loaf of bread like pumpkin bread or banana bread in there whatever fits in that well you can bake... soup works great in there we'll never go without a nesco :-)
