It's ok for now.
This is the 4th or 5th VP-10 I have owned. They last about 2 to 3 years and then break or give out. I just had one go out but the last time I installed the VP-10 I ordered a 2nd one so I had one ready. I installed it and then ordered this one knowing that I will eventually need another one ready to go. I realize that by waiting I am not going to be able to use any kind of warranty but they have all lasted past the warranty period anyway. My water pressure is very low and the booster pump helps significantly but still not great. I hope to someday find a booster pump that will give me better water pressure and last longer. I will keep looking. The only hesitation that I have about this pump is it arrived not in the factory box but a box and was wrapped like it had been used before. I believed this to be a new pump and not a refurbished pump. I hope I am correct.
