Very expensive but beautifully made and works perfectly.
It works beautifully. Required minor fitting which I had done by a local 1911 specialist, and now is totally right. One thing to note is the finish, which is shiny and plum-colored, definitely not black. Appearances aside, it's vastly superior to the original Colt MIM safety, which was very poorly-fitted, porous, rough to the touch and offered four (yes 4!) distinct detents in its extremely stiff range of travel. This Wilson safety moves like glass - it's just snick-snick, on-off, and with zero overtravel at the bottom.
