Bought this for just whitetail deer hunting for approximately 30-100 yards out so nothing large. but nothing small, and this rangefinder works both long and short range extremely well.

This rangefinder is NOT useful for golf. For hunting it might be just fine, but the Distant Target Priority System does not allow for ranging distance to a flagstick - it will give you the distance to the largest and furthest object in view - maybe a hill, tree or something else behind the flag.

I purchased this about two months ago for target shooting for both archery and rifle shooting. I was impressed with it's ease of use and accuracy. I'd say it's accurate at 200 yds +/- 1-2 yards. Visibility is excellent. It is very quick to use. The small and compact design make it excellent for throwing in a hunting pack or making it easy to take to the range. For the money, I'm not sure you'll find a better range finder. I was able to test it in foggy and rainy conditions as well this year and it functioned flawlessly. Definitely a purchase you will be happy you made.
Excellent clarity and magnification. The only thing it needs to make this a 5 star review is angle compensation. Overall very pleased and would definitely recommend it!!!

It's not a good rangefinder for hunting can't pick up small objects it locks on to houses ok but unfortunately I'm not hunting houses the only reason I put 2 stars because it is pretty clear but don't waste your money I wish I wouldn't have. do your research
