This is a beautifully made mantle clock. The wood is rich, and matches my mantle perfectly. The hourly Westminster chimes are gentle and unintrusive as they toll on the hour. They just chime as a melodic reminder of the passage of time, and then count the new hour. The clock suspends the chiming feature at 11 PM, and then resumes again the next morning at 7AM. I especially like that it is a Bulova clock, a name synonymous with fine timepieces. I am quite satisfied with this clock. I can wholeheartedly recommend it to you.
