I own a Lumix G7 MFT camera that I use mainly for film/video purposes. Most times I am filming dancers. That being the case, I am often outdoors or indoors in a club type atmosphere filming. My filming conditions are unpredictable and never perfect. I've used Rokinon lenses before on Canons and was not disappointed. The 12mm Cine lives up to the Rokinon name is quality of construction and image. For the price, it just CANNOT be beat. Would I like more sharpness at the edges? Sure! But considering the price point of this lens, it performs much better than the price would suggest. If you're looking for a great wide angle cine lens and are on a tight budget, go with this all around great lens!

This lens surprised me a lot. Very good quality, sharp, super wide and fast.

Very compact, sharp, some curvature in Cu's and architectural but not excessive. Very fast.

This is a good lens for the money. I can't say that it's great. Its a good deal softer than I would like. I've heard a lot of rave reviews but I'm guessing they are not fro pros. You would do better to buy one of the vintage Niikkors. They are much sharper and have better contrast. If you are someone who needs new... this may be a good option.
