Reliable and Comfortable Headset
This is a great mono headset that has a buttons to adjust how loud the sound from the game is compared to the chat sound which can be set to 0 on either side. One of the nice features is that you can hook it up to just about any device all you need is the device specific adapter which is a lot cheaper then buying a separate headset for each device. The only complaint I have is that the ear piece has ventilation to prevent your ear from getting hot but the ventilation doesn't work that well and my ear still gets pretty warm. Great headset would recommend to anyone who is looking for a inexpensive headset for chat only, would not recommended as a replace for a stereo headset even though it can hear game sound through it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Broken - worthless.
Was new in the box. but failed. XBox sees it, but it does not work. Mute button toggles but no sound detected. Can't head other chat players. Tried 2 controllers, multiple plug ins - no go. Simple and great for our purpose
My husband was finding gameplay a little difficult with lack of being able to communicate with other players, so I ordered him this headset and from the first time he used it, he loved it. Functionality over comfort
Let me start by saying I game about 5 hrs a day (MP shooters) so I wear this headset a good bit. As far as I can tell, the voice is always clear no feedback and really enjoy the chat pad control on the bottom. The head set itself is very uncomfortable - the hear piece is a strange shape and the overhead strap piece is quite hard and has no padding. It was a great way for me to replace my broken headset and keep playing with my teams but not a long term commitment. Entry level chat headset that will get you online and in the conversation with volume control and mute buttons. Pretty cheap construction though and I doubt it would stand much abuse. Would have a 5 star if not for one thing... the headband

Good quality, sometimes too quiet for listening even at max volume
