They do what brake pads are supposed to do, stop the bike! I use these on my enduro that I use for lift served down hilling so my pads wear out pretty often. I think this is more because of heavy use than anything else, I get about 5 days of 6 hours per day of down hilling out of a set of pads on the front wheel. Of course much longer on the rear. On my bike these don't squeal, so that's a good thing. I once had to buy a set of semi metallic for these brakes when I wore though and didn't have a spare set on me and boy could those sing! So these organic pads are much better.

I commute about 6000 miles a year. I ride rain or shine. I bought this bike because it had disc brakes and they provide all conditions reliable braking. When the first set of pads wore out I stuck with the standard pads that came with my brakes. These are a good compromise of wear and eating away at the rotor. Braking action is good, not great. I could have tried a more aggressive pad, but I don't need it and I prefer to have my disc rotor last longer. These last me about 6 months. I wish the friction material was a little thicker so that I could get some more life out of the pads. There are also relatively easy to install. A pair of pliers and and soft lever to push the pistons in is all you need.

As the manufacture's name suggest the product is top quality and is exceptional value to what you will buy locally. The predicted delivery date was acceptable, however the supplier method of post resulted in a delivery time LESS than half of the predicted time. I would seek out this supplier in the future for my needs.

Fit perfect and easy install. This is my second set. I get about 1000+ off rode miles on these. These pads work very well, are very smooth and quite even when wet. There may be higher performance aftermarket pads out there but the the Shimano B01s are a great value and are durable. I will continue to use them.

Easy to put new pads and spring together and drop them in replacing the old pads. Break-in period was brief, and I now have the same powerful, reliable braking performance this Shimano system has provided for several years.

They seemed prefect at first, but after two weeks of using them. The back pads are squeaking more and more. The front ones are awesome, so I might have just gotten a bad pair. Over all I rate them 8/10.

Bought a new BMW bicycle and some hydraulic fluid had leaked out of the caliper and contaminated the pads making the brakes squeal. This got rid of the noise and it stops on a dime!

Since I don’t have a need for this product at the moment (I still use brake pads that I bought recently), I can only give a rating based on a visual inspection and not based on a functional test. So, the product seems quality to me.

At first they make tons of grinding noises and didn't stop very well. After a couple big hills they beded in and work great.
