My FAVORITE kitchen item!
1. It comes in my favorite color, RED! 2. It accepts all of the Kitchen Aid accessories I have tried so far, my favorite being the paddle with rubber for scraping the sides of the bowl while beating/mixing. 3. You can control the speeds easily, not so with some mixers like the VonShef stand mixer. 4. The head tilts far enough back to be very efficient. 5. Love the 2 sizes of bowls, & especially love the handle on the larger one. 6. It does NOT move/walk over the counter when in use, even on high speed for long periods, 20 minutes. I am on my second one now. My sis borrowed my first one, liked it(a lot), so I told her she could keep it. It's like having a Kitchen Aid without the big price tag. The Kenmore elite stand mixer is actually manufactured by Whirlpool/kitchen aid and is a sensually the same as the kitchen aid 5 qt artisan stand mixer. There was something wrong with the plug and it had to be adapted before we could use the mixer. It seems to work fine now, though. It appeared to be some kind of quality control issue with the plug.
