The Only Hydraulic Park Brake You Can Trust
The Lever Lock PN#02-640-125 from Mico is the only hydraulic park brake that will sound the vehicle horn when the fluid pressure drops to around 750 psi, alerting the driver of possible park brake failure. Installation is not that easy since brake lines need to be routed in and out of the cab. Mico does make an electric version of this lock, which is much easier to install, but it has been my experience that the electric version tends to get locked up and will not release if too much brake pressure is applied. The only way to release the brakes when this happens is to bleed of some fluid with a wrench. The lever lock will ALWAYS RELEASE no matter how much braking pressure is applied. I consider this to be a must have accessory for launching boats since it can be installed to lock the front (dry) axle. The brakes are released by hand leaving both feet free for the clutch and accelerator. No hydraulic brake lock is designed for long term or overnight parking. You won't be disappointed with the performance of Mico products and this seller has the lowest price I have found for the Lever Lock.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
