Excellent camera and excellent value
Image quality is excellent. Of course, for the lower price, there are some trade offs. For example, the 4.5-6.7 aperture makes capturing fast moving subjects difficult compared to the XF 55-200, which is a much more expensive lens. Also, there is no aperture ring on the lens (as advertised). You simply use a wheel on the camera to adjust the aperture. You can focus as close as 36" at full telephoto, resulting in about a .3X (equiv.) magnification for close-up photos.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Great choice for an acceptable sports photography lens

For daylight lighting conditions it is more than adequate fast and yields sharp images throughout the focal length range.
