A great learning toy. Too bad it's out of production.
We bought this bank for our 3 year old daughter and she is learning about saving money and loving it. She enjoys putting each coin in and listening to the random phrases that describe each coin. The bank will automatically turn on when a coin is inserted and will shut off of not used. Two drawbacks that we see are the "pinball/pachinko" path that each coin takes as you insert each coin is pretty useless as the coin drops so quickly you don't have much time to enjoy it. And for children that lack the attention span or patience to listen to the phrases that play as you insert each coin will miss out on the whole learning aspect of the bank - which really is the whole point of this you in the first place. But for us, our daughter just loves this bank and looks for opportunities to earn a few coins to put in for her savings.
