More adaptable front or rear boat use now! But many other uses!
A nice heavy duty quick connector. I have the ability to move my old trolling motor from front to rear of boat quicker! I can also use these to quickly connect other 12V electronic accessories like cigarette lighter, lamps, Jumper cables, AC Charger etc! This is a poorly implemented product. If your TM is right next to your battery, this is a pretty quick solution to QD removal of the TM. If OTOH you need to extend the TM wire with say 8, 6 or 4 gauge you will have to cut off the loop connectors, splice in the heavier gauge and terminate the longer cable at the battery end. I did not like the crimp connectors so I elected to solder the QD to the TM and the longer cables. If you are not comfortable with connecting heavier cable you will have to get creative. If Minn Kota had done it right there would be different kits to adapt to longer extender cables.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
