Worth it for General Understanding.
This manual is detailed enough to get you through most jobs. The only problem I've had is that the pictures can often be pretty muddy (old black and white scans) which are hard to make out in the middle of an operation. That said, almost everything in this manual can be augmented with some online videos and instructions to make sure that you're seeing everything correctly. Not for all Suzuki's that the manual shows on cover.
