Definitely worth buying and self install.
Definitely does work, I'm not sure its 40% easier to pull clutch but it is easier. I had to do something to make pulling clutch less painful due to my age and onset of arthritis in my fingers. Past weekend I put on 400 miles with new Easyboy clutch kit and didn't even feel my arthritis. So I would say that it does work. As for installation, you do have to be mechanically inclined, I'm a bike mechanic from the past and have equipment to accomplish this task but definitely not for a novice mechanic. Gave it four stars due to difficulty level of install, even though theres no other way of installing it, and a potential flaw in the way the cable rubbing on side of cable housing as it enters transmission housing. I tried to lessen the wear by stuffing bearing grease onto cable and into cable housing. A durable plastic insert into cable housing might be a solution as part of the package, but I'm no engineer just a mechanic.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
