2013 Yamaha yz450f
First off the shipping was fast. Ordered the tank Sunday night. It arrived at my front door Tuesday morning. The packaging was done well with no chance of damage being done to the tank. Price was great. Retail, the tank was $285, which I wasn't willing to spend. Tank was on sale for $185, so I went ahead and ordered. The tank came with installation instructions, but it was not needed. Swapping the fuel pump over was super easy. You also need to swap the tank mount brackets to the new tank. Super easy. Last the seat mount needed to be taken from the old tank and installed on the new tank. Plug the fuel line and electronic clip and the tank was ready. I poured fuel in and no leaks. Fitment was like OEM. The tank looks great in comparison to the old tank. Keep in mind the OEM tank has plastic body panels that attach to it. This will not go on the new tank. Additionally, a gas cap is included. We had a billet aluminum cap on the OEM tank. It did not fit the new tank. This was okay because the cap that came with the tank looked great. Hope this review and the photos are helpful to anyone with this bike. I couldn't find any photos of a 2013 yz450f online. Again, thanks for the great product!
