like having 5 1/2 gear lol not quite 6th but in between
It lowered RPMs 6% for any given speed, I used 47 teeth versus 50 factory. the acceleration or low end torque were un noticeable affected, but the factory setting of 50 tooth rear sprocket cause the speedometer to read 65mph when in reality it was doing 59mph gps. now 59 mph divided by 47 teeth new gear then multiplied by 50 old ratio gives you a true 63mph it is a lot of difference in city traffic 59 below limit versus 63 over the speed limit and more confortable cruise at the same engine rpm. note rpms is what limits this speed not wind it just cuts through head wind, it does not mean that it wont indicate 70 mph or more if needed it just that 65 is probably the comfort high rpm for this bikeVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
