As far as installation went it was a text book, classroom-like operation. The old shocks slid off without so much as a grunt, and the new ones slipped right on. I did one shock at a time.
My bike is an '06 Vulcan 750 which has a center stand, making things sooo much easier. I have hard mounted saddlebags that have shock cutouts and the bags did not interfere with the swap out.
The whole thing took 30 to 35 minutes from initially putting her up on the center stand to finishing up the cleanup.
Due to weather here now in western Washington state, I can't do a test ride but I have sat on it and there is a nice feel to it. The original shocks had died and turned it into a hardtail so the feeling of some controlled bounce was great! I anticipate no issues once I do get to ride it.
Yes, I would recommend Progressives to anyone. The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars was because I can't actually ride it yet due to weather.
