Next step on PW50 Boyseen Reeds and Quality Air Filter
Arrived on time and in perfect condition. Best price anywhere for NIB boyseen reeds for PW50! I think these do help the bike run better but I can’t ride it so I can not say for sure. These bikes run very rich stock so this and a good filter seem to help. With both mods I think I went up a size to 72.5 main jet. The next issue is the pitiful OEM suspension. Our first moved up to a KTM 50 which are awesome but the PW50 with this set up gave him the confidence he needed to jump on a hard hitting liquid cooled race bike like KTM or Cobra. He started just before 3 years old on a bike that barely ran and by 5 the power with this kit is plenty because the suspension is so poor. If kids are little keep it stock and choke it down with a exhaust washer. Once they understand the twist throttle get a high quality filter and and Boyseen reeds, a couple jet sizes, remove restrictive exhaust washer and replace with open stock exhaust (both OEM Yamaha parts) and it’ll buck good. Once they can handle that move up to KTM/Cobra 50. Had tons of fun with this route and it all start on a PW50. Have fun y’all 👍 Thanks!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
