High quality plastic replacement side panels that fit mostly well. I ended up discarding the jack nut on the right side panel and using nuts and washers. Both panels do not tuck entirely underneath the seat like the OEMs did, but they still look good. I didn't use nor did I know why the rubber grommets came with the left side panel---I just re-used the original cam bolts. The kit also came with what I thought to be an air box cover that simply did not work/fit. I chucked it also and re-used the original. Overall, Maier stuff is quality and the closest thing to OEM that you'll find for older bikes. And they know that---$100 for plastic side panels?
Considering the options, this is perfect. But not a plug and play fit.
Product is very nice and looks great once i worked out the kinks. Much better looking than the ugly orange and yellow OEM colors (And 34 years of abuse). The holes on the air cleaner side need better alignment but it works still. The bracket they send with to mount over the exhaust is useless, totally the wrong angle and doesn't hold the plastic away from the exhaust. I was able to fabricate a better mount. Still though, for the value and its age, some of this is expected. I am very happy with the product.
quick sent , good quality .
one bad point, the right panel fit not perfectly on a 1992 250 xr , the front point of fixation is not used but the other ones are enough...
