Kuryakyan Chrome Regulator Cover is made of real metal, not cheap ABS plastic
I looked for a chrome voltage regulator cover, but most all of them are ABS plastic. I don't like plastic parts on my bike. I found the Kuryakyn Chrome Voltage Regulator and it was metal and very sharp looking piece. It did cost about 2 times what the plastic ones cost, but it was well worth it. It looks great on my bike and I don't care if other people think it's plastic. Easy to install, looks good, only thing that bothers me is the only airflow the regulator gets is from the direct front, no vent holes on the sides that i can see.
