Probably the best you can buy
I've had many motorcycles, snowmobiles and generators over the years and have found that Yuasa batteries perform better and last longer than anything else. The YTX12-BS in particular is one of the best Yuasa batteries I've used. It's nice that it comes with the acid pack and loading the acid is straight-forward, easy and safe. The battery has a very good life. Like most sport batteries they should be charged slowly after acid loading (2-4 Amps) to realize the best performance and life. Yuasa batteries are generally the most expensive to purchase but long-term I believe they're the best value.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Yuasa Manufactured motorcycle Battery
I have always thought that Yuasa Batteries were the best quality for motorcycles rather than the cheap Chinese knockoffs. When the Battery went dead in after two years I figured I must have went the cheap route. When I pulled off the seat there was the exact same battery I had ordered a Yuasa. I feel a little let down that a known brand would only last two years and yes I do keep a trickle charger on all my bikes during the year.
