I use these pads on my 2006 CBR1000RR track bike. I run a Brembo master, Brembo rotors, and stock calipers.
I used to run EBC EPFA pads but went over to these on a recommendation of a friend and fellow racer. Unfortunately I cannot offer a comparison as I never ran these back to back with the EBC pads. I can say I never had an issue with the EBC pads though.
I went to these after I replaced my stock Honda rotors which were warped. I did so essentially for one reason (other than the recommendation of my friend) and that is the Ti coating on the backing plate. Titanium is supposed to be very poor at transferring heat and so a layer of Ti between the braking surface and the caliper pistons keeps the heat out of the brake fluid. I cannot say for sure it works, but I like the idea, and can say I've never experienced vapor lock. I do run a very high end brake fluid too so that may by why also.
These pads are extremely thin when brand new compared to other brands. It's a bit misleading though because they wear like iron. You will either get a full race season from then or very close to it.
The braking on then is very linear. If you like a really hard initial bite you may not like them. If you like a very linear consistent feel you should live these. They also do bite a little harder as they get hot but not excessively and also not suddenly.
If there is anything to complain about with these it is the amount of brake dust they generate. I'm always shocked at how much dust the leave on the wheel and front body work especially when you consider how little thickness they are losing over time. In addition, they seem to make even more of a mess when they are wet.
As I said before I cannot really comment on how they compare to other pads, even pads I have run before, but i can say i like their linear feel and that one set lasts me an entire season on the race track
