This silicone chess board is gaining in popularity as it is nearly indestructible, perfect for any chess club, park game, school, or tournament games. Complete with algebraic notation on the perimeter of the squares to simplify lessons and study past games. The board measures 20 inches (50.8 cm) with 2.25 inch squares (57.15 mm) 0.042 inch thickness (1.01 mm). This chess mat meets the World Chess Federation's (FIDE) and the US Chess Federation (USCF) proportions standards for tournament play. This board will fit chessmen with 1.75 to 2 inch diameter base. While we recommend you store it flat or rolled, this floppy chess board only weighs 10 oz. and will easily fold to a compact size for travel. Will also roll to fit a standard chess bag.
