finding a tow hitch wasn't easy
After trawling the UK and Europe I had to order this unit from the states. delivery and tracking was very good but import duties added a £100 to the price of hitch and wiring harness. both are straightforward to fit but the hitch takes a couple of hours ( note it comes with an 17/8" Ball - 50 mm ball used in the UK is about 1.5mm larger). wiring loom is plug and play, but you do have to put your own plug on for the connection to the trailer.( I used a standard 7 pin socket, so it match's the one on my care) there's a lot of excess cable in the loom with the exception of the wiring to the trailer plug, which had to be extended by about 12" to get the socket down next to the ball. I pull a 1m wide 2m long trailer. used to pull it with a triumph rocket 3 with no issue's. now I have an Electra glide classic with the kuryakyn hitch and can report no issues when towing. Go easy on the brakes and remember always to make sure the hitch has enough weight on it when towing and its a breeze. tow safe. Allan BVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Poor instructions and missing bolts
