Great windshield
It works but is not exactly made for the Honda 919. But I was able to fit it. As a result, there are no multiple positions for it. It only fits in one way without adjustments. But it definitely does a good job protecting me form the wind. I havent tried it in gusty situations yet but at 70 mph, the bike feels much easier to ride than before. Good Windshield, and recommended with some exceptions that may be deal-breakers for some.
The windshield was purchased for my '00 Triumph Thunderbird 900 as a replacement for a much larger windshield. Given its size, it's tough to really call it a "touring" windshield, since it's more of a large bikini shield. Despite its size, it does a reasonable job of wind protection, and is likely used best for rides up to about 100 miles. The shield itself is of reasonably good quality, with some odd waviness at the middle of the top. Where it really falls down is with the quality of the attachment hardware, which is zinc plated and with exposed threads visible when installed - chrome plating and with an acorn nut would be much better-looking. As well, the bearing ends of the clamps have no padding between the metal clamp and the shield's plastic and where it clamps to the bike's headlight brackets. I'd give the mounting system a rating of "good" for approach and "poor" for quality and execution. The installation instructions are sorely lacking as well, leaving a lot to the installer's ingenuity and skill.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
