Good Fit on Triumph Bonnevilles if You Have Smaller Hands
The Triumph Bonneville comes with 1" handlebars, and grips that curve to 38.5mm at the center. That's just too big for my size 8 (medium) hand.
The chrome accessories on these grips are easily removed, and if you cut the ends off right at the edge of the end-cap groove, the grips are a good length for the Bonneville bars, and measure 34.4mm when mounted. That's still not a "slim" grip, but a better size considering we are working with 1" bars.
The rubber is tacky and offers a good grip with leather gloves or bare hands, and the design looks a little more up-to-date than the Triumph or Amal style "diamond" grips that are also available for this bike. Keep in mind that the liquid-cooled (2016 and newer) Bonnevilles have a throttle grip that is molded on to the throttle pipe, so it may not be reasonable to try to cut the stock grip off the newer bikes to mount these.
Left pos feed back too soon, grips too long, plastic cap broken when removed from package......Then to top it off throttle side tore while installing. Do your self a favor and buy some better quality grips
