The directions are lame...when trying to install the clutch pack, you provide EXTRA steel and friction plates than 1996 evos use...if you try to install all the plates provided you will NEVER get the pressure plate back on. You have to figure out on your own through way too much effort(retain ring will never go on)and guess work that you just gave me too many and i had to just look at the thickness of my stock clutch pack and guess at the number of plates to use. The 1996 evo uses 7 friction and 6 steel plates, for your product sent to me. You sent 9 friction and 8 steel plates...Every 3 packs you sell, you loose 1 whole pack at 150.00 lost by you? seems wasteful. A simple note on the direction sheet you all sent that tells us "more plates are provided for different fitment for all models or something like that would have been VERY helpful...Of course i love Barnett and your price is banging...hope this makes a difference for all...PeaceVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Awesome clutch pack
I bought this based on lots of reviews from forums after my grenade plate...grenaded. I can find neutral every time, smooth shifting, no 1st gear "clunk" (I actually like the sound and do miss it) fiction zone is tighter but within the standard lever clearance. Clutch pull is a little tighter but that's to be expected with this pack as described and it is livable. I used my stock hd diaphragm plate along with this pack. Excellent clutch
Replaced the OEM "grenade ring" clutch in my 2014 Iron 883. The bike shifts much better now, hooks up as soon as I release the clutch, it's like riding a different bike. Well worth the money/time. Highly recommend. Also recommend the Energy One clutch spring tool if you plan to do the install yourself.
