vortex 44 tooth rear sprocket
I recently installed one of these on my 2009 Suzuki GSXR 600.. I had first ordered an acceleration kit which is a -1 in front and +2 on the rear.. that set up is absolutely awesome for quick acceleration and hard pull in every gear. The only downside is it caused my engine to turn excessive rpm and I knew it would but not quite that much. So I decided to try a +1 (44) tooth rear sprocket to calm the engine down just a tough in 6th gear cruising.. took the rpms from about 7,400 down to 5,600 in 6th gear at around 65 mph.. was a great purchase and looks great on my bike being aluminum. Also with aluminum its lighter and will also spin faster due to less rotating mass.
