Same yourself the hassle of trying to use the tube that came on the bike.
I've used these on several Suzukis such as the DR650 and the DRZ400. For some reason Suzuki deemed it necessary to glue the grip to the throttle tube. It makes it almost impossible to remove the grip without damaging the throttle tube.
