I've now had two Motion Pro cables. The first on my DRS350 when the original broke. Got the Motion Pro, and it worked o.k. but wasn't great. The action was definitely not as smooth. Second instance had a DRZ400S with a stiff clutch pull, checked everything else including the clutch springs and finally changed out the cable (found out it was a Motion Pro) with a stock one. Bingo, that was the problem. I don't know why the Motion Pro cables don't work as well as the oem Suzuki, I just know my experience of them has been poor.

My one-year-old motion pro clutch cable snapped in the middle of the desert, rode home in 2nd gear all the way. OEM cables last many years. If you are an adventure rider I would recommend OEM. One year and done is not quality. This was my first non-OEM cable, lesson learned.
