A little thinner material
Brake pad compound is definitely thinner than OEM pads. Maybe because of material being used. Called EBC brakes direct & still couldn't get an answer. Had purchased EBC pads for a different motorcycle & never observed this before. Hopefully they last as long as the OEM pads.
