20% increase in spring rate.
This Barnett spring set allows more clamping force for Ninja 650s, ER-6N’s, and for the Versys. The 20% increase in clamping force is barely felt at the lever, but is extremely noticeable when leaving from a stop at low RPM. When the RPMs drop low the engine used to stutter, but no more now that the clamping force is appropriate for the engine size. Launches are much better. Less clutch slip when changing gears under heavy throttle. Much more performance in mind over stock springs. Compared to stock spring, Barnett springs compressed less for the same weight. This would make sense, as it has a higher spring rate. Enjoy your much needed upgrade for your bike!
