Good, clean looks and it fits well once the necessary modifications were made.
On my particular model GL1800 (2014) there is a sensor wire that comes out of the timing cover housing near the 12 o'clock position. There is a notch in the chrome cover designed to accommodate this wire, but the notch isn't in the proper position.
I had to trim a bit more metal on the hrome cover to get the thing to fully seat against the stock timing cover. I used a bench grinder, but a file or even a good pair of tin snips will do the job.
Disappointed that an accessory that cost over $100 didn't fit right out of the box.
Purchased the timing cover to brighten up the front of the bike, liked it that much I also bought the chrome cowl as well, while it isn't all that noticeable it does make the front of the bike look a lot better. When you look at it you wonder why Honda didn't sell it that way from the start. Only time will tell how it holds up wear wise, but I'm hoping with a bit of care it should be okay.
