Saddlemen Solo Seat (Y3330j) Studded
2010 Yamaha Road Star Silverado S... Great seat! Just removed my Mustang Solo Seat and the Saddlemen sits lower and isn’t quite as wide and bulky. I really like the the lower center of gravity and the way I sit down in the seat. Worth the dough! FYI... you’ll have to remove your front loop clamp from your stock seat that holds it in place. I had to order mine because the Mustang Seat wasn’t removable. My local Yamaha dealer ordered it for me and I had it in a couple days. Just around $12 for the loop and the bolts! Not bad but it wasn’t budgeted in so I thought you should know. I’ve had Saddlemen Seats on my other bikes so I know they last and feel better as time goes on. I expect nothing less from this one! UPDATE: it’s been many miles and quite some time now and the seat is so comfortable I never even think about it! It’s held up perfectly! So much so, it still looks brand new. No joke! Studs, Stitchings and shape. Now I do “Armor All” it when I’m NOT going to ride for a few days so it’ll soak in and help it retain its lustrous dark shine. I’d buy this all over again, and perhaps I should and store it in the attic, but this one isn’t showing any signs of wear and that’s extremely encouraging.
