Perfect fit
The Kruzer Kaddy looks great, it looks like it rolled off the assembly line at Yamaha as a stock OEM part. Quick and easy installation. The bracket fit to perfection. No modifications were necessary. It came with two different liners of different thicknesses to accomidate different size bottles or cans. The only down side was the extremely thin metal of the cup holder itself. It feels about as thin as an aluminum pop can wrapped in leather. The manufacturer should consider reinforcing the pivot point where the cup holder attaches to the bracket. My concern is that when you combine the weight of the beverage and the vibration of the road, the bracket may eventually work its way through the thin aluminum and loosing your cup holder. For now, I'm happy it, only time will tell how it holds up.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Kruzer Kaddy
I was looking for a holder for my insulated mug which is wider at the top than at the bottom. I removed both foam sleeves and inserted my mug. It fit tight at the top but loose at the bottom. I custom fit a 2" tall, 3/16" thick piece of my own foam and placed it around the bottom sides of the Kaddy. This secured the mug and kept it from rattling. I installed the spacer to allow the Kaddy to swivel which would be fine for a soda can but not for a mug that is 4" taller than the top rim. This first set up resulted in my mug constantly tipping over and a potential loss of the mug. I had to keep grabbing my mug to keep it upright. I stopped and disassembled the spacer, reversing it to its optional "fixed" position. This solved the tilting problem but the mug still sits higher than I would like. If the Kruzer Kaddy was 1.5" taller and a 1/4" wider in diameter it would better fit most insulated mugs but than it would be harder to grab a soda. For reference purposes a soda can is 12 oz and 4 7/8" tall. My thermos is 16 oz and 8" tall.

Low quality
First of all, I had to take a file to it to make the hole big enough for it to fit on the swivel part. And the leather that is glued onto the outside was already peeling apart. Would not recommend!
