    Plexistar Windshield ROCKS!

    Turns out the folks has Plexistar know there business. Great design, superior materials, easy installation. I bought this from an individual after going to their website to make sure that the product number was correct for my 1970 CB350. I highly recommend that you go to their site and use their search feature to make sure you get exactly the right on as there are small variations the hardware on different ones. Couldn't be happier!

    Disappointed with the PS2

    Even though the shield blocks much wind from the sides and top, it produces tremendous updraft from the lower side causing my shirt to peel up my chest. I've been wearing a pullover windshirt but it rises on my chest, as well, at highway speed. I am trying Memphis Shades lowers to see if that would help. Unfortunately, the National Cycle shield with lower plastic does not fit my ride.

    Great for not being polycarbonate

    Would have preferred polycarbonate over plexiglass, but that being said, you won't find a better warranty (or at least *I* haven't) on a motorcycle windshield. The other major point in this model's favor is the flexibility (in terms of configuration) of the mounting hardware. Unfortunately, that's also a potential source of great frustration for DIYers who have no prior experience installing this kind of product. The instruction manual provided with the windshield would have been pretty much useless without the vague sketches accompanying the text to provide some context. Photos would have been better, or at least a bit more detail in the sketches. I suspect this is a common issue with products designed for multiple applications. Specific example: the fork tube clamps are shown as being mountable in any of four general locations depending on the application, and there's no hint as to which location is the best match for any particular application. Bottom line: if you're patient and have a bit of mechanical intuition, it's possible to accomplish a great looking installation. Product works well and looks great!
