Excellent quality seat.
I purchased this Mustang Sport Touring seat to replace a LePera Maverick for better long ride comfort on my '09 Road King. Although I've yet to take the new seat for any long distance riding as of yet, there is more cushion to help absorb hard bumps in the road(a benefit with my bad back) than the LePera Maverick. Please note: compared to the Maverick seat, the Mustang seat moves the rider further up vertically and forward horizontally an inch or two, I no longer have the original seat to compare it to, however. The jury is still out as far as tailbone comfort, I've heard it can take several hundred miles to properly break in a seat to conform to ones particular shape and size and I've only put about fifty miles on the seat at the time of this writing. Quality of materials and build of this seat is superb. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because I'm still not sure about the long distance comfort as of yet. Great seat so far.

Mustang has the look and the comfort you are looking for.
This is the third Mustang seat I have owned on my fourth Harley -Davidson. I have tried other seats....Saddleman....Danny Gray...Le Pera....they are all good but, I keep coming back to Mustang. I ride at least 10 K miles per year including at least one trip of usually 3 K miles and a couple shorter ones at around 1 K miles. Mustang seats have made the difference on my rides in assuring comfort over the miles. Plus, the quality is top drawer. I have never worn one out, torn one or rubbed a hole in one. They look well made. In the past all of my seats were solo seats, so a little extra bulk did not look so out of place. In this case I was looking for a two up seat for my Road king Special. The Mustang Sport Touring fit the bill nicely. The extra padding for the comfort is there but still in a sleek enough design to not take away from the look of the bike. It does raise me up slightly and it does move me forward slightly. I am 6' tall so it is noticeable but not a deal killer. For a shorter person this seat might have the double benefit of comfort from both the padding and the seat positioning.

Perfect seat for the road king
The seat is perfect it's not too wide so it does not push on the inside of your thighs. It does sit you up about an inch taller for me this was an advantage I am 5'11 with a 32-in inseam, And this was exactly what I needed. My wife is extremely comfortable on the back of this seat. The sleek design of it keeps the sporty look that the factory has seat had but the nice straight back on it gives you a lot of back support absolute perfection.
