Why I chose Yausa.
In February of 2020 the factory installed (2012 Yamaha 950 Build Date Nov 2011) Yuasa was used up & done. After nearly 8 years of absolutely reliable service. I replaced it with this new (exact same part number) Yuasa. Yes, there are cheaper (and more expensive) choices out there but do the math. The years of reliable service, alone, are enough to stick with Yuasa then there's the low cost per year ( $15). For the record this 2012 950 Tour gets ridden several times a week between April and November (USA Midwest Seasonal). Many rides a month are over 100 miles, a few more, several less. winter layup is in a garage and battery remains in the bike on a plug in battery tender, started and allowed to warm up twice a month. Really good battery!! Worth the $
I just put this in my 2012 Honda Shadow Spirit 750 and it's a perfect fit! I like that it has 230 cold cranking amps! Plus it's made by Yuasa japanese so it's probably gonna last and worth the 130 I paid for it!
