Usually when someone sees a robot they already think it's going to be corny. I form of science fiction that doesn't seem human. Atomic Robo throws this away. With Clevinger's writing and Wegener's art it becomes easy to get immersed in the world of A.R. and the other members of Tesladyne. This first series is not necessarily a full story-line but it starts off strong and gives you enough information to get to know your new hero. This edition also comes with extras such as "B-Comics" as they are called, which bring further detail to Robo's many adventures. Plus the original sketches and designs of our metallic friend. All in all, a 5/5 experience.
Heard a lot of great things about this all-ages story, a combination of Iron Man, Indiana Jones and classic sci-fi and noir.
