Ive always used Motorola Booms 1 and 2, they worked great and lasted for hours, but they were too delicate, if you dropped it, it broke, or if you flipped the boom closed too hard, it broke, this NEW one however is made WAAY better, the ONLY thing is it doesn't last nearly as long. I still like it so i bought another one

From boom2 the ear piece is smaller and if in noisy place turn up sound over does it and gets fussy. Ear piece hanger is different. can't use two ear pieces to get a better fit. If hinged piece doesn't mate well will cause unit to turn on/off at any time: especially if you are doing head movements. My last device is now suffering this and hoped to replace. It has many hours of use until the hinged piece broke after about 2 years of very careful moving it. The fit and loudness was not a problem as the boom3 has. I have worn the 2 for 10 hours straight until it notified of power, not once did it give me the headache the 3 did in under 2 hours. all I did was to remove from my head, headache gone in 2 hours without assistance. i'm returning the Boom3 and look for boom2 if still around or another product after 8 years.Read full review
