A Great Addition to the Set!
This coin's beauty is enhanced by NGC's black retro holder. It will make a stunning statement when displayed with the two Kennedy half dollars of the commemorative moon landing which are also available in the black retro holders. The only slight disappointment is with the NGC grading "Gem Proof" instead of the actual grade. The coin is beautiful! A stunning Deep Cameo that deserves more than "Gem Proof."

Beautiful coin normally not available outside of proof sets
Proof coins printed by the US Mints are some of the most beautiful coins you can purchase. After a certain year (can't remember), these coins were not put into circulation and were only available to collectors generally in Proof sets. As an individual coin, it is a very nice item.
