By far their best album. This was the lineup that I saw play at the now long gone Starwood in Los Angeles, and liked them so much, I went again the next night! They weren't playing clubs like that after this album exploded on the charts. The songwriting and performances are top notch. The extra tracks are okay. Some various live stuff and an interesting earlier studio version of "Heart Of Glass". Mike Chapman adds some interesting liner notes about his experiences producing this album. And of course the sound of the cd is great. Buy it. Now!
A little Disco, Punk, Rock, and good Balladry. Most of my collection is earlier, and don't stray too much, but the variety Deborah Harry and her accompaniment Blondie band makes it all interesting with a good amount of innovation. Don't really like punk, but I liked most of the lyrics enough to make that passable.
